John Cardillo was raised in Queens and patrolled the south Bronx with the NYPD. After a decade of serving the citizens of New York City, his entrepreneurial desires kicked in and he founded what would become one of the most significant online safety and security firms. His combined subject matter expertise on law enforcement, investigations, public policy, and business make him a sought after on air analyst, and are what led to The John Cardillo Show’s creation and success.

Spending a few years traveling the globe while building his companies, and desirous of a change of scenery, John decided to relocate. “The energy of [New York City] was very different after 9-11,” reflects Cardillo, who was in Manhattan on that tragic day in 2001. “I always loved south Florida, and thought it would be a great way of life”.

Politics was always in John’s blood. His extensive criminal justice and policing experience saw him called on by Attorneys General and industry coalitions. John helped block or pass legislation in over a dozen states and has testified as an expert witness and subject matter expert on same to the United States Congress and multiple state legislatures. He was an appointed member of Harvard Law School’s prestigious Internet Safety Technical Task Force, and in 2008 was the recipient of a tribute from the Florida House of Representatives for his work.

That experience combined with his time in law enforcement quickly made John a highly sought after speaker, commentator and analyst on national broadcast and cable news programs. As a featured contributor for Glenn Beck/The Blaze, Dr. Drew, and NRA News, combined with frequent appearances on CNN, Newsmax, Fox Business Network, and countless TV and radio affiliates, his content and source intelligence made its way into national media outlets daily.

John began his career in talk radio by launching a weekend show on 1290 WJNO, The Palm Beaches. Despite the weekend time slot, the show was so well received that WJNO asked John to host weekday morning “hot topic” vignettes which aired prior to the Glenn Beck Radio Program.

John learned the power of social media early in his career, and considers it an integral part of the show’s success. The sheer mass of content available to consumers demands that today’s hosts effectively utilize multi-media to build their brand, and to distribute their message.

John’s strategy paid off, and The John Cardillo Show quickly gained both audience and the attention of national industry professionals. The John Cardillo Show became available for national syndication on the CRN Digital Talk Radio Network in early 2016. In June of 2016 The John Cardillo Show was offered the coveted weekday morning drive slot (7-10 am) on Salem Media Group’s WZAB 880 “The Biz” in Miami/Ft. Lauderdale. John Cardillo is now the only conservative morning drive host in that critical market.

2016 also saw John included in Talkers Magazine’s Heavy Hundred List, which recognizes the 100 most influential talk radio hosts in America.

When not in the studio, John can often be found on his boat or 50’ below the beautiful waters of south Florida with a pole spear in one hand and a lobster snare in the other. John holds positions as a board member or adviser on national charitable foundations and policy organizations, and is a frequent guest lecturer to criminology students at Florida Atlantic University.
