EXCLUSIVE: 9/11 Fraudster And #NeverTrump Elector Chris Suprun Lied About Founding A S.W.A.T. Team

Texas ‘faithless elector’ Stephen ‘Chris’ Suprun is not only lying about being a 9/11 Pentagon first responder, he is also lying about his law enforcement service.

Dallas ABC affiliate WFAA first exposed Suprun’s 9/11 stolen valor in their comprehensive report.

As I dug deeper into Suprun’s background alongside my friend Rob O’Donnell, a retired NYPD homicide detective and Ground Zero first responder, we discovered that Suprun’s fraudulent claims extended into law enforcement.

On his LinkedIn resume, Suprun takes credit as a founding member of the Manassas Park, Virginia, Police Department S.W.A.T. team.

This seemed suspect, so we spoke with Assistant Chief & Special Operations Commander Trevor Reinhart of the Manassas Park, VA Police Department.

Chief Reinhart informed us that Chris Suprun had no hand in the creation of their S.W.A.T. team and has never been a part of that department or their special operations division, nor has anyone there ever heard of Suprun.

Chief Reinhart was disturbed by Suprun’s claims and the agency is now investigating.

Suprun continues his September 11th fraud through the Never Forget Foundation, a 501(c) (3), and the Never Forget 9/11 PAC.

In what appears to be another attempt to deceive donors, there is a button on the website footer of The Never Forget Foundation which reads,

    “FINANCIALS

Due to the size of our organization, we are compliant with Internal Revenue Service rules by filing Form 990-N, found here.”

However, the link does not send you to the IRS website nor does it even provide access to the actual filing, but instead lands on a page within the foundation’s website deceptively designed to look like an official IRS page. While the copy on the site seems to imply a large and influential organization, quite the opposite is true.

Actual IRS filings for the Never Forget Foundation are unimpressive and submitted on the simple Form 990-N (e-Postcard) used by those organizations whose annual gross receipts are $50,000 or less.

Suprun’s involvement in the Never Forget 9/11 PAC appears even more dubious. According to the FEC the PAC was created in March 2015 by a Kathryn Morales, yet uses the e mail address and P.O. Box of Suprun’s Never Forget Foundation, a 501(c)(3).

The PAC’s Twitter account, much like Suprun, is a constant barrage of #NeverTrump content.

Suprun is not listed as an officer on any of the PAC’s filings, but he did receive an airfare reimbursement from the PAC in January, 2016, three weeks before the New Hampshire Primary

One of the simplest ways to catch a liar, especially one who lies about service in the military, law enforcement or emergency services are the inconsistencies in their stories.

Suprun cannot keep his straight:

September 2012, Philly.com:

“Suprun's own 9/11 story began with a decision that runs counter to everything he has taught in disaster management classes - he dispatched himself.

He was 27, a volunteer paramedic at the Dale City fire company in Northern Virginia, and he was teaching emergency medical response at George Washington University.

When his beeper sounded after the first jet struck in Manhattan, he drove with a buddy to the fire station, where he always kept a fresh uniform.

As they dressed, preparing to drive to New York, they watched a TV report from the Pentagon, where a third jet had just smashed into the 30-acre building.”

May 2013, CandGNews.com:

“He began by taking students back to that day, where he sat in a diner in Virginia, learning of the news that disaster had struck in New York.

A short time later, changing his plans to journey to New York to work, he witnessed the moments leading to the Pentagon — containing 3.7 million square feet of office space — being struck, 60 years to the day it was constructed, he explained.”

September 2013, DallasNews.com:

“Twelve years ago, I responded to the Pentagon after a unit from the fire department reported a plane down and heavy black smoke. I had a front-row seat to hundreds of deaths that day.

I’m a paramedic by both profession and avocation, so I’m not squeamish. When death happens, the talking heads talk and most of us watch, but not everyone. Some people act.

I have watched 9/11 be used by this group or that to make their political cases…

How ironic that the September 2013 Dallas News piece accusing others of politicizing 9/11 was an op-ed written by Suprun himself.

While Suprun watches 9/11 used politically, we are watching Suprun use it to steal valor, defraud donors, hijack an election, and dupe professional sports organizations like the Texas Rangers into allowing him to throw out the first pitch.

Now law enforcement is watching Suprun’s next move. My team and I will ensure that they continue to do so.
